FRANK ARCHIBONG CALLS FOR YOUTH RE-ORIENTATION, PROMOTIONAL LEADERSHIP


...says building peace through dialogue is no longer a choice, but a necessity...


To create value, positive leadership, curb youth delinquency, and to ensure sustainable peace in our States and nation, the Akwa Ibom State Commissioner, Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr. Frank Archibong, on Thursday, 2nd December, 2021, has made a call for a re-orientation among Nigerian youths.


Frank, said "It is important to develop the  youths to be truly capable of being change agents, and to enable them unearth hidden individual talents and organizational potentials in order to achieve results in a more innovative and adaptive culture."


The Commissioner made the call recently at the Ikono Clan Youth Conference, tagged;  "Come Let us Reason Together" held in Ikono Clan Civic Centre, Uyo Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State, where he was the Lead Speaker.

He opined that a peaceful society can only exist when "Youths collaborate to facilitate development and good governance, rather than promote negative leadership, cultism, and other social vices capable of breaching law and order.


The Chieftaincy Affairs boss, who was ably represented by his Chief of Staff, Mr. Tommy Enodien, maintained that the youths must go beyond complaining and start effecting the change they crave for by interacting positively with their immediate environment.


The youth summit is an initiative of Elder Ndanti Ekuh, Special Assistant to the Govecnor on Research.and Documentation and is aimed at reawakening the consciousness of youths in lkono Clan, Uyo Local Government Area towards facing the present global, national and local realities.
