END JOB SEARCH AND EMBRACE AGRICULTURE - HON. BROWN CHARGES A'IBOM YOUTHS

The Executive Chairman of Mkpat Enin Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State, Hon. Ekanem Brown has advised youths in the state to end their hunt for unavailable white collar jobs and rather embrace agriculture which he described as 'a highly lucrative business'.

The council boss made the call last Monday in Mkpat Enin while speaking to a group of youths who accompanied him to inspect a ten hectare demonstration farm cultivated by the council boss to shore up Internal Revenue in his council.

Hon. Brown who is a renowned entrepreneur reminded the youths of the thousands of graduates who are churned out of higher institutions across the country yearly, and wondered why youths are still roaming the streets looking for jobs whereas the agricultural sector is begging for attention.
In his words "i want our youths to learn from me and embrace entrepreneurship and agriculture. There is so much money in agric. All of you that are employed in this demonstration farm should study the technics and establish your own farms too. We should stop looking for nonexistent jobs and rather return to the farm because there is so much money in farming".

Hon. Brown asserted that cucumbers worth 4.8million naira will be harvested in the next three weeks from a section of the government's demonstration farm to a waiting market.
