Serving Councillors elected under the platform of the peoples Democratic party PDP, in Akwa Ibom State have been inaugurated with Hon. Imo Malachy Nkantion from Orukanam emerging the forum's state Chairman while Hon.Mkpong Isangedighi; councillor representing ward (7) in Esit Eket is to serve as Eket Senatorial District coordinator.
According to the forum's P.R.O. Hon. Eduok; Etinan legislative member; he said the forum is targeted at mobilizing grassroot support for the success of PDP and Governor Udom Emmanuel come 2019.
In his inaugural speech, the chairman of the forum, Hon. Nkantion thanked Governor Udom Emmanuel and the PDP leadership for seeing to the conduct of a fair and credible elections.
He stressed that the coming together of councillors in the state under a united platform
( A/Ibom Councillors Forum is to add credence to the impeccable leadership style as exemplified by the Governor.
He emphasized that the forum is set to align with the dakkaada philosophy of the Governor to further boost the pace for the projection of government policies and programs.
He however assured of the forum's decisive determination to walk the street of A/Ibom to mobilize and galvanize grassroot support in favour of Udom Emmanuel come 20219.
The chairman who represent Orukananm legislative council added that the coming together and formation of the forum is to enable proper awareness and sensitization of the people to be properly guided and with the pace of governance as witnessed under Udom's administration.
