The Ukanafun police Division of Akwa Ibom state has rescued the Apostolic Church cleric, Dr. Ukere Iwok who was abducted by unknown gunmen on Friday evening 22 December 2017.
Sitippe gathered that Pastor Iwok was rescued as the kidnappers were trying to move him from Ukanafun LG to Oruk Anam Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State where their Camp is located.
The Clergy man, Dr. Iwok who is also the Director of U & I Missionary Hospital was abducted at the Apostolic Church, Ikot Andem in Ukanafun Local Government Area by gunmen with three motorcycles who stormed the church in a commando like style and whisked away the man of God during revival.
The incident which resulted in the church members running helter shelter for their dear life.
