Ever since His Excellency Deacon Udom Emmanuel took over as the Governor of Akwa Ibom State series of celebration has been Happening from one angle to another, at least joyful moments are more than the challenging times.
A typical example can be seen in the security and other sectors as our sons and daughters are being elevated to one higher position and the other.
About 3 months ago a prominent son of Onna LGA and a senior officer with the Nigeria Civil Defence and security Corps, Mr Nathaniel Ubong has been promoted to the rank of Deputy commandant General (DCG).
He is the first person from Akwa Ibom State to occupy the post from South South region of Nigeria, this is historic.
According to DCG Ubong Nathaniel, "when i joined the corps i never dream of becoming a commandant", he expressed appreciation to the almighty God, Governor Udom Emmanuel and Akwa Ibomites for their fervent prayers.
He invite all to attend a special Thanksgiving Service on Sunday 5th Nov 2017 @ THE AFRICAN CHURCH CATHEDRAL, Uyo Central Diocese, 9am Opposite State Secretariat, Uyo.
His Excellency Deacon Udom Emmanuel, top government and security officials are expected to attend.
Deac Udom Emmanuel is really a key that God has used to unlock many doors, the sons and daughters of Akwa Ibom State are being placed on their rightful positions.
