President Buhari has finally issued an apology to Nigerian Youths prior to the statement he made at the Commonwealth organization by referring to the Nigerian youths as lazy set of people.
Prisendent Buhari made the apology in a statement made available by his Special Adviser on media and publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina on Wednesday, 19 April 2018
The presidency explained that he did not refer to all the Nigerian youths as lazy but majority of them.
"President Muhammadu Buhari did not refer to all Nigerian youths as lazy in a statement he made in Commonwealth Business Forum in London. Rather, it said Buhari only made reference to "a lot of" Nigerian youths.
The statement further stressed that the presidency as a father has no moral ground to named Nigerian youths lazy even as he had his own biological children.
"There is no way President Buhari, father of the Nigerian nation in every sense of the word, who equally has biological children of his own in the youths age bracket, pass a vote of no confidence on all youths".
However, the story of Nigerian youths laziness has been trending in Nigeria and all over the world for the past 1day and some angry youths have already decided not to support President Buhari's 2nd term bid for labelling them lazy before the international communities.
