The campaign team arrived Awa Iman community at about 11am to the waiting hands of cultural display, women in colourful attire, radiant youths and proud elders of the community.
Virtually all political office holders from the community were in attendance to receive TEAM ONNA.
Prominent amongst them were the political leader of Awa ward 1, Dr Bernard Duncan (Commissioner in the State Universal Basic Education Board), Bishop (Hon) Ufot Sunday (Commissioner Akwa Ibom State Local Government Service Commission), Akparawa Etiene Bob (Senior Special Assistant to the governor on project monitoring), Mr Elijah Akpan, Mrs Edmund Ufang (wife of the Chief Protocol Officer to the Governor), Obongawan Patience Udofot (immediate past State Treasurer of PDP), Akparawa Ubong Ekefre (Awa Iman Youth leader) and others...
The campaign train had their first eleven in the persons of Otuekong (Hon) Nse Essien, Barr Ubong Adiakpan, Hon Vincent George, Hon Imo Attat, Mrs Comfort Umoette, chapter officers, ward chairmen, ward leaders and party faithfuls...
Dr Bernard Duncan treated the campaign train to a sumptuous meal before leading them to QIC primary school Awa Iman the venue for the occasion.

To round off the campaign for today the chapter chairman had a befitting dinner with members of the team at his country home with brass band at the background to create a perfect ambience.
